Resource Centre

Aahung’s role as a resource organization

Over the past ten years, Aahung has developed a reputation as one of the only organizations providing quality technical assistance in the field of sexual health and rights. Thus, Aahung would like to scale up its function as a resource centre and pro-actively respond to the demands for sexual health capacity building from both within and outside the sexual and reproductive health sector in Pakistan.

The resource center has the following functions:

  • To enhance the capacity of public and private outreach / service delivery organizations to deliver quality information and services on sexual and reproductive health and rights
  • To market and widely disseminate Aahung’s resources (technical as well as IEC materials)
  • To develop and implement mass awareness communication strategies for promoting positive messages on sexual and reproductive health and rights
The resource center also offers a few annual trainings on SRH topics to public and private institutions and service providers.
