As a sexual health resource center, Aahung provides consultancies for partner organisations tailored to their specific needs and organisational realities. The scope of work includes guidelines and policy documents, operational and pure research, development of workshops and related material, training sessions and literature searches for organisations on sexual health issues.
Examples of consultancies carried out to date include the development of guidelines on VCT (Voluntary Counseling and Testing), BCC (Behaviour Change Communication) strategies and peer education for vulnerable groups, the development of courses on reproductive and sexual health for academic universities, training workshops and material development for operationalising rights-based approaches and focus group discussions for the development of life skills.
Some of our partners include the Population Council, Green Star, Marie Stopes Society (MSS), Church World Service (CWS), National and Provincial AIDS
Control Programmes (NACP and SACP), the Pakistan National AIDS Consorium (PNAC), Aga Khan Health Services Pakistan (AKHSP)
as well as private and public universities like Hamdard, Isra and Baqai
Universities.
